3CXPhone is a program designed to help users make calls to any mobile or landline number from their Windows OS. The program imply no type of costs neither for purchasing the software nor for using it.

Once you've completed the simple installation process, you discover an interesting GUI that has the shape of a mobile phone. Still, though it looks cool, it doesn't work flawlessly. The information on the menu is overcrowded and it's not so intelligible. More, the action buttons are hard to find and don't contain any descriptive elements.

As for its features, 3CXPhone provides users the means to realize blind transfers, record calls, and it can also show personal call history.

Furthermore, it offers support for G.711, GSM and Speex codecs, and can automatically provide the settings. Though it works with popular VoIP providers, 3CXPhone is not tied to any particular providers.

To sum it up, 3CXPhone is genuinely a nice software tool to try, though you should know that some elementary functions are either unfinished or poorly implemented.
